BALTIMORE SUCKS!!

I was walking on Light St. yesterday morning and fell on a very slippery swatch of pavement that a crew had not properly taped off from the rest of the sidewalk.  I landed on my left side, hitting my elbow, hand, and left thigh.  The coating was pale gray and very slick - like glossy paint.  When I went inside my bank and told them what happened, I was told that other people had fallen on that same spot last week.  If you were to see the site, you would see cones planted around new, non-slip pavement, but not the glossy section.  Such incompetence.  When I entered my bank and told them what happened, someone said to me, "You fell too?" and then commenced to telling me about another woman who had fallen a few days before I did.  That woman wasn't able to get up and needed medical attention.  Wow, I wasn't the only one!  What a surprise...  

 

HARM CITY is a dump, despite miserly efforts to improve it.  All the money is being dumped into the Inner Harbor (a waste by my standards) while the rest of the city continues to fall into further ruin.  It's ironic, that Baltimore's Mayor would choose to have the sidewalks fixed before having the pothole infested streets smoothed out.  How many more people have to lose their hubcaps and get flat tires???  If you live in Baltimore, you know what I'm talking about.  If you've never been to Baltimore, take a trip there and check it out.  I guarantee you'll be cursing before the day is over!
